1.4 ElkhoundThe walk on your lock screen

Most of this one you see without unlocking your phone. The walk you are on sits on the lock screen and in the Dynamic Island — time, distance, your dogs' names — and pauses from there. Plus one tap from a finished walk into Instagram Stories, two more training skills, and a route that no longer breaks when you stand still.

  • The walk you are on, on the lock screen and in the Dynamic Island: time, distance and your dogs' names, moving as you move

  • Pause and resume from there without unlocking. The button is set to require Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode first. It needs iOS 17 or later

A paused Tailomi walk on an iPhone lock screen: the dog's name, the time, the distance and the button that resumes it
  • Anyone holding your locked phone can read the card, so you can turn it off: Settings, App settings, Lock screen. The card ends straight away

  • One tap from a finished walk into Instagram Stories, with the card already on the canvas. The ordinary share sheet is still right next to it

The Tailomi walk story card ready to share, showing the pet, the distance, the pace, the date and the time
  • The date is now on the card by default, so a walk you share from your history no longer reads as today's. The time moved to the right, and the pace sits under the distance

  • Two more training skills: wait at the door, and paw. Five levels each, with the same demo clips as the rest

The Tailomi training plan with nine skills, including Wait at the door and Paw
  • Every level of every skill now has its clip. There are no silent lessons left

  • What is free changed shape. The skill that matches your pet's goal is free in full, all five levels: calm at home gives you stay, walking gives you loose-leash walking, the basics give you sit. The first level of the other first-wave skills stays free. Leave it and drop it are part of Tailomi Plus now

  • Your route no longer breaks when you stand still. iPhone used to stop recording during a long stop and pick it up later, drawing a straight line through the gap. It does not any more

1.3 DalmatianA city you can actually walk a dog in

This one is about the street outside your door. What to do when your dog swallows something on the pavement, which clinic is open at three in the morning, who else is out walking right now, and which park is worth the trip. Plus a card you can put in your stories after a walk.

  • Emergency card: seven first-aid guides — poisoning, choking, bleeding, heatstroke, a paw wound, a seizure, a road accident. Each one is three things to do first, what not to do, and when a vet is the only answer

The Tailomi emergency card: seven first-aid guides and the 24/7 clinics nearest to you
  • Those guides are stored in the app, not fetched, so they open with no signal at all — which is the moment you actually need them. They are not a substitute for a vet, and each one says so

  • Clinics open around the clock, sorted by how far they are, with walking directions and a call button where we have the number. From an SOS button on the map, from your pet, or from settings

  • Walk story: turn a finished walk into a card for stories or a post. Either the route as a transparent sticker, or the map from the walk. What appears on it — distance, time, pace, pet, date — is yours to choose in settings

The walk story card in Tailomi: the route as a transparent sticker, with distance and time
  • Photos of your pet: up to five, on the profile you already have. Instagram and TikTok chips if you want them there

Buddy's page in Tailomi with up to five photos of the pet
  • A link to your pet's profile you can send to anyone. It now expires after thirty days, and sharing a new one kills the old link

Sharing a pet profile link in Tailomi: it lasts thirty days and a new link replaces it
  • People replaces Friends. It shows who is out walking near you right now — and when nobody is, who walked in your city this week. You can turn yourself off in settings

The People tab in Tailomi: who walked in your city this week, above the list of friends
  • Favourite places: star a park, a clinic, a water tap. The map filters to them, and your starred vet shows up first on the emergency screen

Favourite places in Tailomi: a park and three clinics, each with walking directions
  • Place cards now carry photos, what the place actually has — fence, lighting, drinking water, surface — and a description where one exists. Directions hand off to your maps app

A place card in Tailomi with a photo from Wikimedia Commons and a description from Wikipedia
  • A place has closed, or is on the map as the wrong thing? Report it. Three people saying the same thing fixes the map. Vet clinics are checked by a human first — three throwaway accounts should not be able to hide a clinic

  • Weekly goal for each pet: a minute target for the week, a ring that fills, and every family member's walks count toward it

The weekly goal on a pet's page in Tailomi, filled by the whole family's walks
  • Safe zones and hazard alerts are one thing now, not two screens that did not know about each other

Safe zones in Tailomi: leaving a zone is free, hazard alerts inside it come with Plus
  • Stop a walk with no signal and it is no longer lost — the app finishes it as soon as it can reach the server, with the time you actually stopped

  • Training: two more skills, leave it and drop it, five levels each. Leave it is free in full — a dog that ignores what is on the pavement is safety, not a paid feature

The Tailomi training plan with seven skills, including Leave it and Drop it
  • Invite someone and you both get Paw Coins once they have walked a real walk

  • The app now reports crashes to us so we can fix them. It still carries no third-party analytics, and crash reports are stripped of network traffic and location before they leave your phone

1.2 CorgiA new name, dog training and a map worth using

Pet Walker is now Tailomi — the same app, the same account, the same walks. Inside: step-by-step training for your dog, a medical card that keeps feeding, medication and vet visits in one place, and a map that other owners keep alive. And out on a walk you can finally say hello to the owner you keep passing.

  • Pet Walker is now Tailomi. Nothing else moved — your account, pets, walks, history and subscription are exactly where you left them

The Tailomi profile with the account, walking history, achievements and subscription all in place
  • Dog training: five skills — sit, down, stay, recall and loose-leash walking — five levels each, run rep by rep with a virtual clicker and a level you cannot skip until your dog has done it twice on different days

A Tailomi training session running rep by rep, with the demo clip and the virtual clicker
  • A placement test if your dog already knows the basics, sessions that work with no signal and sync later, and a photo you can share with friends when a skill is mastered

The training plan in Tailomi: five skills, the level each one is on, and what is already mastered
  • Medical card: reminders for feeding, medication with a course end date and vet visits, next to the walk schedule — with a record of what was actually done, kept for the whole family

Buddy's medical card in Tailomi with the daily calorie target and the feeding reminders
  • Walk reminders now take any days of the week instead of every day

A walk reminder in Tailomi set for Monday to Friday at 07:30
  • A far bigger map: vets including 24/7, pet stores, dog parks, parks, drinking water, waste-bag dispensers, groomers, boarding, trainers and dog-friendly venues — all of Ukraine loaded, everywhere else filling in as people walk

The Tailomi map filled with vets, pet stores, parks and shelters across Kyiv
  • Add what is missing: submit a place, put a photo on it, confirm what someone else found or mark it gone — all checked against where you actually are

Adding a place to the Tailomi map: drinking water, a bag dispenser, a park or a dog park
  • Report a hazard — poison, glass, an aggressive dog, a blocked path — so the next owner sees it before walking into it. Free for everyone

A hazard reported on the Tailomi map, with the reporter's note and how many people confirmed it
  • Air-raid shelters in Ukraine from official city registries, each with a crowd-checked note on whether you can get in with a dog

The Tailomi map filters, with every kind of place that can be shown
  • New exploration badges for the ground you cover: how well you know your own block, how much of the city you have walked, and full rings around home

Exploration badges in Tailomi, earned by the ground your walks cover
  • The pet page is redesigned around how it is actually used: a compact profile card, mood at a glance, and one tap between schedule, training, overview and family instead of one long scroll — with weight now tracked

The rebuilt pet page in Tailomi with mood, level and the schedule, training, overview and family tabs
  • Walk together: while you are out walking, invite someone walking nearby — a ready-made line, a park to meet at if you want, and a chat that opens only if they accept. Silence is a no: an ignored invitation quietly expires and the sender is never told

Inviting a walker nearby in Tailomi, with ready-made lines and an optional meeting point
  • Raise the open-to-company flag for a walk and other walkers can invite you along; it drops when the walk ends. Adults only, blocking and reporting are a tap away, and every conversation closes itself after a day

Raising the open-to-company flag during a walk in Tailomi
  • Tailomi Plus adds watched areas that alert you when a new hazard appears where you walk, training levels 3–5, your contribution stats and more room to walk together — five invitations a day instead of one a week, in your own words, to anyone out walking nearby. Sit stays free in full, levels 1–2 of every other skill are free, and levels, badges and titles are still earned by walking

What Tailomi Plus adds, with the monthly and yearly price

1.1 BasenjiTailomi Plus, city exploration and pet mood

The biggest update so far: a map that fills in as you walk, a clearer read on how your pet is doing, and an optional subscription for households — while everything that makes progress stays free.

  • City exploration: finished walks paint your map, and a badge shows how much of your city you have covered

The Tailomi map with walked areas painted green and the city coverage badge
  • Pet mood on a 0–100 scale, built from how recent, how long and how regular your walks are — with the minutes left to make your pet happy today

A pet's mood card in Tailomi with recency, weekly minutes and active days
  • Family pets now hold up to four people, sharing one pet's history, stats and mood

A pet profile in Tailomi showing the family section with co-owners
  • Walk invites can carry a meeting point and a time that both of you see on the map

A Tailomi walk invite carrying a meeting point and a time to be there
  • GPS quality: the app tells you honestly when a walk recorded badly instead of showing a distance that makes no sense

A walk in Tailomi flagged for bad GPS, with the points that were dropped
  • Tailomi Plus — an optional subscription adding family sharing, hiding from nearby walkers, insights and pet care trends

The Tailomi Plus screen listing what the subscription adds
  • Experience, levels, badges, titles, Paw Coins and the leaderboard stay free and earned by walking

Achievements in Tailomi: the walking streak, lifetime totals and earned badges

What we are working on

Two things are in the works: bringing Tailomi to Android, and turning a finished walk into a short video you can share. We do not announce dates — every update goes through App Store review, so we would rather ship than promise.
